Too much faux food?

Now I'm not saying that I don't cook, cause I do. But hub's comment this morning, "Are these real? You never know in this house!" got me thinking.

Maybe I should explain....

Over the past year I have made a few items of prim crafts that are based on real food. It started with 'chocolate 'Easter bunnies last year and progressed to cinnamon buns, candy apples and then the latest, strawberries covered in chocolate. Well last night I thought I would make a batch of cinnamon buns for hubs and DS. (the real variety) Thought they would appreciate them for breakfast! You really can't win, can you?

  1. - just read your comment on my faux cinnamon buns ;)
are the ones pictured real or faux?? LOL I can't tell!!!
My grandkids thought mine were real and were so disappointed when I told them I sewed them up. lol

  2. I've given your "chocolate bunnies" for gifts and they are amazing. I just don't know if I could have faux food's like food scented candles. It's hard to resist! You are so talented Mary! Are you visitor free again?

  3. For now Jenny. My son and daughter in law arrive on the 12th of Feb. for 2 weeks.

  4. Delicious looking whether real or faux!

  5. Fat free milk - now that's faux food. Your cinnamon buns look deliciously real.
